Midas is king and he holds me so tight And turns me to gold in the sunlight.

I visited the Reloved Vintage store at The Gordonton Country Market this weekend and completely fell in love with this "Mother" cup and saucer set. Apart from the fact that the smell of this candle was sooo good I think I could have eaten it right then and there, I loved the simplicity of the design.

Amber from Reloved Vintage makes the most beautiful candles and other lovely must haves, and I think with Christmas coming up you should check out her range and find something just as beautiful as mine to give away.

You can drool over Amber's gorgeous range of treasures here.

Say Yes to Carrots Lip Butter

I'm addicted to lip balm. Its not because my lips are dry or chapped, I've just become accustomed to having berry stained strawberry scented lips and I like it!

Recently I came across this cute brand "Yes to Carrots". I found it in my local Countdown supermarket when the cute packaging caught my eye. The name "Lip Butter' drew me in (there are also cute names for the balms like "Sweet Fig Lip", and "Peachy Keen"). Of course I had to buy the strawberry flavour to try out.

I like it that this lip balm is organic, I spend all day reapplying my balm so its nice know that I'm not swallowing as many chemicals - its completely free of Parabens, Petroleum, Phthalates and SLS. Nice!

You can read more about the Yes to Carrots brand on their website here, or see below for some pretty pictures I took of my new balm...

Off to the Melbourne Market I go...

I'm literally holding my breath as I type... apart from this being the very first post on my blog... I'm writing about a huge step I'm taking with my little brand (so yep, its all about me so far....).
We've grown together over the past 2 years my little brand and I. We've found our niche, we've begun to tell our story, now we're venturing on our big OE... and its scary!
The big leap of faith I'm taking is jumping on a jet plane this December to take part in The Big Design Market  in Melbourne. Check out the site, the talent that is going to be on display is amazing, and I'm obviously petrified!
The following images are promo's of the special limited edition "mini-prints" that I've just posted off to Australia to go in the show's goodie bag.
I'll start posting some of the amazing talent that is going to be at the market in upcoming posts, as well as posting about some of my favourite eating/drinking spots.
